LANGLEY

DEATH CLAIMS "GABE"   Gabriel Langley aged 64 and a well known workman of the Showers Brothers company died Saturday evening at his home on west 5th street after a three week's illness.  He is survived by the widow, one sister, Mrs. Florence Robertson, of California, and one brother Milton, of this city. He was a member of the Church of Christ.  Funeral at 10:30 this morning from the residence in charge of Rev. A. I. Raines of the Church of Christ, and burial at Rose Hill.  The pall bearers were Edward and Joseph Hardy, M. G. Adams, Joseph Lee Newton, Wright and John Parnell.  "Gabe" Langley was one of the well known workmen of the city, a jovial character.  He was connected with the Showers factory for many years and saw it grow from a small institution to a great industry. - Bloomington Telephone Bloomington, IN - Monday May 17, 1926 shared by Judy Jefferson

LLOYD

 Kristy Jo (Norris) Lloyd, 37, of Freedom, passed away at her residence May 31, 2009. She was born July 15, 1971, in Bloomington, IN, to Joe and Myrna (Crowe) Norris. She graduated from Owen Valley High School in 1989. She was a co-owner and painter for EBCO Painting in Bloomington. Kristy attended Freedom Nazarene Church. She loved children and her family, working with flowers and enjoyed helping others.  Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her husband of 3 years, John; a son, Jace Lloyd, at home; daughter, Jessica Johnson, at home; her parents, Joe and Myrna Norris of Spencer; three stepchildren, Kelsey, Samantha, and Jacob Lloyd of Bedford; a brother, Joe (Kellie) Norris Jr. of Spencer; a sister, Jodie (Kelly) Finch of Bloomfield; in-laws, Ron and Alice Church, two nieces and two nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Hildreth Norris and Cooper and Pearl Crowe.  Funeral service will be held Friday, June 5, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Louden Rites Wednesday -  Rev. Zimmerman To Have Charge Of Final Services  The Rev. Donald E Zimmerman, pastor of the United Presbyterian church, will have charge of the impressive funeral rites to be held in the U. P. church on North College avenue at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning for Mrs. Anna Louden, prominent civic leader and wife of Col. T. J. Louden, local attorney, who died Sunday evening at the Post Hospital in Forth Knox, Kentucky, after an illness of one week.  Active pallbearers are to be Harry Orchard, T. G. Karsell, J. G. Ray, Irvin Matthews, W. B. Hoadley and Dr. W. N. Culmer.  The following honorary pallbearers have been named: Dr. Charles H. Emery, of Bedford, W. A. Alexander, William Graham, Dr. Robert G. Rogers, Robert G. Miller, Oscar Cravens, Ward Hiddle, Edwin Corr, Dr. S. C. Davisson, Howard Tourner, Charles Waldron, Roy O. Pike, Phillip Hill and Orin Jones.  Mrs. Olga Porter is to be the organist. The family has requested that no flowers be sent. The deceased will be taken to the church at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the residence at 420 North Park.
